I have dealt with some major issues, one of which took nearly 3 years!! This took up a lot of my time but it was worth the fight and we achieved our goal.

Hi aisha,
I have dealt with lots of big issue’s over the past several years as a Councillor the one’s that have effect me the most are the School closures, especially the closure of Mere Oak’s Special School.
This was a real sad event as thousands of people in Wigan did not support the Council closing down such a good School.

I’ve dealt with a few big issues, and sometimes they really affect you emotionally, especially a family being a evicted.
