I don’t like smoking as it causes so many health issues. I cant stand the smell of cigs and glad we have the ban in place within public buildings. I think smoking at 16 is too young too. People will continue to smoke as the industry is world-wide and its impossible to prevent. Wish it were. Good question.

Hi sammy … I am sorry i didnt answer you this morning, there were lots of questions.

I cant ban it personally. We will never stop people from smoking completely. If we ban shops from selling cigarettes you will have people buying and selling them illegally, which would be worse because we couldn’t monitor that or gain any tax from selling cigarettes. If we did ban them this would be called the ‘nanny state’ which most people aren’t in favour of. Why should the Government stop someone from smoking if they enjoy it and understand the risks? It is a free world after all.

I am a non-smoker, never have smoked and I hope that i never will, i hope that you never will too.

    Thanks Gary.
