Question: In shevington we have a lot of shops and places to go. But we don\'t have an animal shelter near, so we could really use one. So would we be able to have one, were people could bring stray animals in?

Good points. Most animal shelters rely on charity and donations and times are hard for them at the moment as there isnt much spare cash about. The nearest animal shelter to me is in Leigh, up the East Lancs Road. I dont know of anybody running a shelter in Shevington or Standish. But if you know of anywhere make sure you try to help them, you could ask your three local councillors to donate some of their Brighter Borough money to help out.
