you have asked lots of good questions. This depends on the environment you are talking about. A school environment should be a safe place to play and relax. Most schools have security fencing these days; something that we didnt have, or need for that matter, when i was your age.
Outside of school. We still have lots more work to do in making the environment safer; not just for children but for everyone. I have recently been involved with a puffin crossing outside a park in my area hopefully this will make it safe for everyone using the park.
I would like to think so. Keep to the areas your parents are happy with and keep safe!!
