People do things like this because they are just idiots! The other week I was talking to some teenagers asking what they would like to see in Ashton and someone through a firework at us, which exploded in our midst. Total fools!

Hi jordan … you asked a lot of questions in chat today … I have no idea why mindless yobs do this with fireworks. This is really a Police issue and, basically, we need more Police at this time of year in order to prevent this from happening. Your neighbourhood Police Officers launch Operation Treacle Toffee over the Bonfire period to stop this activity from happening.
