I have been involved in the Ashton Skatepark/BMX discussions and also contributed to the mobile skatepark. we do need more and bigger facilities – trouble is getting the money to build them.

Hi icekid … yes, not just bmx but skate parks too. I would let the kids design it aswell. This has already happened in my area. have you been to Alexander Park in Pemberton? or Ince Park? to use these skate facilities.

I have seen some great ones in Southport. Wouldnt it be good if we could have an indoor one in Wigan? Next to the Roller Rink perhaps? This would make good use of the empty mills which are very close by to one another.
