Hi horseymad

Do you have a school council? If so, and the park is in the school grounds it is the responsibility of the school to improve. I think a park should be mentally stimulating as well as physically challenging. Bright colours, different textures, different materials all make for a better play area.

Perhaps you could bring this up at a school council meeting and they could put your suggestions forward to the school governors, PTA etc.
