We actually do have lots of litter bins, the trouble is that some people just like using the floor!! We need to have more litter enforcement to stop these lazy people messing up our streets and fields.

    Hi Sparkling glow,
I feel we should educate people more not to drop litter, then we would not need more bins around the Borough.
to place a bin on a street its costs £300 per bin, this money comes from your parents Council tax, so if you wants more bins the Council tax will rise and so will your parents tax bill.
Why should they pay more tax for people who litter?
Its not just about more bins, more bins will not solve the issue of littering..
    Thanks Regards
    Gary

Within my township and across Wigan, we have purchased more bins, and these will be placed in litter hotspots as appropriate.
