I think we have a better than average education authority in Wigan which inturn works hard to give all children in the borough a good education.
We do need more new Schools though as the old ones are looking rather tired…With the new Government in power i feel this will not happen so we must look after the one we have.
I also feel that Teachers are a major important resouce and the Local Authority must look after our teaches by paying them good money for doing a good job, at the end of the day they are what matters most when it comes to a good education.
When was the last time you said thank you to your teacher for doing a good job?
