    Hi aisha,
I would improve one or two things..

As you get older I would train people to start a skill. i.e. engineering or construction this will fall along side a very in-depth education about that skill, NVQ or City and Guilds qualification.
Each person shall be sponsored by an outside employer who will allow this person to attend school and be paid.
Once that person has passed tests and gained the relevant skill they shall leave school with a job.
I would give pupils more time to mix their education with outside working skills and they will get money for doing it.
    Regards
    Gary

I think the standards we have are good but we do need to have continual improvement to ensure we dont get left behind.

I would aslo state that not everyone wants to go to University, so I’d like to see more apprenticeships offered for those wishing to go the craft route.

Education needs to improve. Fewer than half those sitting GCSEs in English and Maths gained grades higher than a D. 1/4 children leave Primary School with insufficient levels of reading and writing to tackle the secondary scholl curriculum, whilst 3/10 do not reach the levels that they need in English, Maths and Science to sit GCSE exams. It needs to improve, standards need to go up. The proposal put forward by Michael Grove MP (A Conservative) should help to improve the standard and quality of education in our schools.
