I would like to see more facilities for our young citizens; I would like more areas to be accessible for those in wheel chairs; I would love to see more of our derelict buildings refurbished and make our areas look loved and interesting to visit.

I would like to see better health facilities in our areas and especially in my own Ward of Ashton………. there are so many things!!! Good challenging question. What would you spend it on?

    Hi aisha,
I would build a Community Centre for Ashton and Bryn, as we do not have a facility in my area like a Community centre.
I would also include an all weather pitch so young people can use it at night and in the winter months.
The centre would have a cyber café for all age groups to use and to mix together with.
Councillors could hold public meeting there and we could meet and talk to people like you aisha, were you could tell us what you would like to see and for the Council to improve on.
This is a long term goal of mine and one day we will have such a centre…but I need to win the lottery first, do you have the lotto number for this Fridays Draw?
    Thanks
    Gary

So many things, New Schools, Modern Health Centre, state of the art youth club. One of my core beliefs is that are communities need more communal places, where all residents can come together and celebrate their community.
