Its a challenge, I was delighted that my colleagues asked me to be group leader and I’m lucky that I have excellent colleagues, one of which is one of my best friends in politics so it helps to make things a bit easier. There’s lots of extra meetings but it means that I get to put across my point of view on things, especially those that I don’t think the Counci is doing right. When I was elected I was the youngest Councillor at that time, so its a surprise to be leading the opposition so soon.
