Hi Lucy..I became a Cllr by accident really.. I was involved with a Community group who were trying to stop a football field form being developed on by a big building company…no one was listening so I started an action group with the help of my wife Adele.. and we won..the rest is history…Thanks

I became a Councillor because I didnt think anyone was doing anything for my Town. I stood in 2003 and had a massive win. I was reeleceted in 2007 again with a good win. This is because I am a local person working hard for the people I represent. I care about our Town and its people.

I wanted to represent the area where I grew up, so I stood for selection by my local Labour party, and they accepted me. I had to fight two elections to win, but I did it with hard work and determination.
